wtry 0.2

It’s been a long two weeks, but wtry is now in its final alpha stage (0.2). We’re almost v1.0 feature complete, which makes me (and hopefully some other people) happy.
About a week ago I made the switch from CVS to Subversion. SVN has a few advantages and disadvantages over CVS, but the one advantages that trumps all else (in my mind) is changesets applying to the entire repository. It makes everything a bit easier, from tracking progress to rollbacks. If you want to check out a copy of wtry, you can get it with:

svn co http://ephesus.dyndns.org/wtrytrac/trunk

Also, check out the “/tags” directory for the different tagged versions of wtry.

I’ve also setup a Trac repository to keep track of feature requests and bug fixes. It’s a very interesting tool that combines a wiki, ticket database, and SVN integration to put a frontend to development efforts. I’m hoping it will aid in some collaboration issues we are having at the present.

If you get a chance, hop on over to the test site and check things out. If you are an RIT student, drop me a line and let me know what you think. You can hit me up at my RIT email address (my userid is “nbr5959″).
