Spring break is such a nice relief from all them college-like stressor thingies. We’re coming up on the end of it now, and, like always, break was much too short. Most people at RIT get a good week and a half or so, with their finals ending midway through finals week. I was lucky enough to have my last final on Friday at 10:15. Brandy’s last final was Friday at 2:15.
On Monday, I had two interviews with IBM. Seems like interesting work (OCP group at a fab in VT), but I’m not sure that I want to do another semiconductor company co-op like Infineon. Either way, it’ll be good to get an offer, even if I don’t take it.
Since we’ve been travelling all weekend, I didn’t get a chance to work on any of the projects that I wanted to. There were some things with wtry that I wanted to get completed, so that my friend Glen can use it for his master’s project. MythTV needs a bit o’ bitch work, since Isaac is going to be switching the database engine from MySQL to SQLite in the near future. Lots of SQL needs cleaned up, and some portions of the database client code need refactored. Maybe I’ll get to them this weekend, but I’ll probably be too busy being lazy. We all need some lazy time during break.
